This isn't a Grim picture it's reality

I was thinking that on top of the beautiful gore I could have a bold caption or statement. 'This isn't a grim picture it's reality' is actually something Fred said to us in a responsive class. It just fitted with the point I'm trying to get across. We see violent and gory images and stories nearly every day of our life and to cope we distance ourselves from it, almost like it's not real.

I want the caption to be patronising because I'm trying to get an emotional response with this, I feel the accusation of desensitisation will immediately rile people. I am belittling their beliefs and questioning whether they care enough.
